What Commission can I expect?
Drop Shipping is much more profitable as they pay between 10% and 40% of the sale price.
PLUS you get paid directly by the customer and not waiting for eBay or Amazon to pay you. Which they normally do the following month.
eBay’s and Amazon Commission are between 1% to 8.5% of the Product Sale Price.
We have found eBay is easier to deal with and has better customer service than Amazon.
So Drop Shipping is more profitable. And if you have products with good mark up. You can Scale up your business as you will be able to afford paid advertising.
What’s Drop Shipping AND Why is more Profitable?
As a Drop Shipping store you are the middle man (or women). The customer pays you for the product on your website. Then the Drop Shipping Company packs and ships the products direct from their warehouse to the customer.

You MUST Update eBay to Get PAID
You Need to Add your Payment Details so eBay Can Pay You.
1st/ After you have created an eBay Member account at the eBay Shopping site.
Note: make sure you’re in correct country site for your Online Store eg .com for USA, .com.au if you are selling eBay products to Australians, .co.uk for UK etc.
2nd/ Create an account as an eBay Affiliate (Partner) with your Business / Domain Email Address. Use the same Username as your eBay member account. Create Affiliate Account at the Partner Network page at either https://partner.ebay.com/login or https://epn.ebay.com/login (they both go to the same page)
NOTE: If you don’t have your Domain Email address please contact us at https://Rent2OwnYourOnlineStore.com.au/contact
3rd/ Update your eBay Partner Network (Affiliate) Profile, Withdrawal Settings and Tax Documents. Log in to do this at either https://partner.ebay.com/login or https://epn.ebay.com/login (they both go to the same page).
NOTE: Please do not change any eBay API Codes or similar setting. Be careful what changes are made under the ‘Tool’ tab.
4th/ Regularly check to make sure your payments are happening. Also stay up to date with eBay Policies and T&Cs etc.

Why should I do Blogs / Posts / Articles?
Doing Blogs or Posts (News/Specials etc) lets Google know you are there.
Your shop like any shop, it needs traffic. Traffic + Conversations = Profits
So keep the Posts relative to your store and have links in your article that lead to your store’s relevant subcategory page.
If you link the Post to a specific product and when that product becomes discontinued the link will automatically be redirected to the Shop page. The other option is you can use the Scheduled Post function to pick a date and have that redirect to another Product or page. This is handy if the product is Concert Tickets or similar.
Google wants to display the best search results for the Google user. So do regular informative articles explaining the benefits, things that will help solve the Google users question/need.
